Certification/Licensure required:
- Master's Degree in School Counseling
- Appropriate State of Ohio certifications/license
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate
Preferences:
- Demonstrate a sufficient understanding of effective counseling practices and strong interpersonal communication skills;
- Demonstrate a sufficient knowledge of State testing requirements and be familiar with all related applications and compliance procedures related to elementary level testing;
- Demonstrate sufficient knowledge of courses of study and curriculum guides;
- Familiarity with DASL and Progress Book
- Successful experience in student relations, curriculum and instruction, and community relations in a high school environment.
