As a Speech Language Phologist (SLP) , you will provide high-quality speech therapy services customized to meet the individual diagnoses and needs of designed students in order to achieve speech therapy goals and improve overall speech functioning. This includes but is not limited to direct instruction prescriptive evaluion, consulting with parents or guardians, and representives from the home school district, writing IEP goals and interventions, monitoring students progress toward goals, tending IEP meetings and collaboring with educional teams to enhance students' communicion skills and overall development.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Evaluing students communicion strengths and needs to design and implement individualized, evidence-based speech therapy programs aligned with collaborive trement goals developed alongside educors and families.

  • Monitoring student progress using da-driven methods and providing meaningful, actionable updes th reflect each student's goals, preferences, and developmental milestones.

  • Employing effective, age-approprie therapy techniques to strengthen speech, language, cognitive, and memory skills within nuralistic environments tailored to each childs unique profile.

  • Writing comprehensive, timely progress reports th inform interdisciplinary team discussions and adapting therapy services to optimize individual outcomes.

  • Managing case records with precision and compliance in accordance with agency policies and ste regulions, while routinely reviewing and upding client documention to ensure accuracy.

  • Maintaining detailed, timely session notes and submitting accure billing documention within 24 hours of each client interaction to uphold operional efficiency and accountability.

  • Establishing and nurturing clear, respectful communicion with families to facilite consistent scheduling, address challenges proactively, and coordine make-up sessions as needed.

  • Communicing practical stregies with parents and service providers to support the seamless carryover of speech and communicion goals into home and school routines.

  • Conducting thorough clinical assessments, recommending approprie, evidence-based trement plans, and managing their implemention to uphold high standards of clinical excellence.

  • Ensuring timely completion of intake processes, ongoing evaluion of therapy plans, and progress toward clinical performance indicors to maintain continuity of care.

  • Improving clinical service quality through facilition of engaging staff trainings, disseminion of current best practices, and mentoring of team members to build collective clinical proficiency.

  • Collaboring with clients and families to foster strong, trusting therapeutic relionships th support goal achievement and long-term communicion success.

  • Providing clinical guidance and supervision in both home and community-based settings to ensure program fidelity and responsive caregiver support.

  • Partnering with multidisciplinary professionalsincluding occupional therapists, physical therapists, and educional psychologistsby actively contributing to team meetings and case conferences for integred care planning.

  • Performing additional responsibilities as assigned, consistently contributing to a positive team culture and the overall success of clinical service delivery.

Qualificions Required:

  • Master's degree or higher in speech phology or a closely reled field of study.
  • Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a speech language phology (SLP) credential.
  • Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a CA ste special educion instruction credential preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certificion in company approved crisis management training.
  • Prior experience and/or knowledge in providing speech therapy to children, preferably in an alternive, special educion and/or behavioral health program setting.
  • Well-versed in special educion services and compliance, effective teaching stregies, classroom management systems, da-based decision making, and working with children with individualized educion plans (IEP's).
  • Highly skilled in working with children with learning disabilities, emotional behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders and/or other reled disabilities.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing effective trement plans for children with diverse needs various levels.
  • Proficiency in providing motivion and having critical conversions with students th help move them toward realistic goals.
  • Highly skilled in building relionships with students, parents, teachers and community and/or district partners.
  • Advanced oral and written communicion, organizion, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability.
  • Knowledge of relevant technology including experience with instructional technology, Microsoft Office Suite, dabase entry and basic office equipment.
