Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity making a difference in students' lives as a Certified Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 24 and extending through June 10 (inclusive of Extended School Year dates). Located in the Gower, MO area, you'll have the chance to support a diverse, engaging caseload of children and teens ages 3 to 18 across three school sites, collaborating closely with committed educators and a COTA. This contract position offers the ideal environment to apply your expertise in school-based OT, including both in-person interventions and teletherapy services when appropriate. The caseload is primarily mild to moderate needs, with opportunities to utilize your skills in fine motor development, functional participation, and adaptive strategies. The pay for this position ranges from $40 to $52 per hour, recognizing the specialized dedication and experience you bring. Desired Experience & Qualifications: Licensed and Certified Occupational Therapist, or eligible to supervise a COTA Experience delivering occupational therapy in school or pediatric settings Proficiency with fine motor assessments, therapeutic planning, and intervention Familiarity with both hands-on and teletherapy delivery models in schools Collaborative mindset for partnering with teachers, parents, and therapy teams Comfortable managing a mixed caseload and varied student needs Key Responsibilities: Provide direct OT services and consultation across three locations Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans Track student progress, document interventions, and participate in IEP meetings Guide and supervise COTA as appropriate Support inclusion by fostering independence and participation in school routines Step into a purposeful role where your clinical skills make a true impact, while enjoying a flexible three-day per week schedule and the opportunity to empower young learners.
