Psychologist

Position Summary:

The School Psychologist provides services that help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. The Psychologist collaborates with teachers, administrators, families, and other mental health professionals to create a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment for all students. The Psychologist works toward strengthening connections between home and school.

Department: Special Education Department ofHigh School Campus as assigned

Reports to: Director of Special Education

Training and Experience:

  • Master's Degree or higher degree from an accredited institution.

Licensing/Certification Requirements:

  • Completion of all requirements to obtain Arizona Department of Education Professional Non-Teaching Certificate as a School Psychologist or
  • Valid State of Arizona licensure as a Psychologist
  • Valid DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • If applicable, must obtain required certifications for being a Direct Service Claim (DSC) provider and fulfill all reporting responsibilities

FLSA Status: Exempt

Salary Placement: Appropriate placement on the Instructional Support Salary Schedule
