As the Regional Speech Language Phologist (SLP) , you will provide high-quality speech therapy services customized to meet the individual diagnoses and needs of designed students across multiple Spectrum School locions in order to achieve speech therapy goals and improve overall speech functioning. This includes but is not limited to direct instruction prescriptive evaluion, consulting with parents or guardians, and representives from the home school district, writing IEP goals and interventions, monitoring students progress toward goals, tending IEP meetings and collaboring with educional teams to enhance students' communicion skills and overall development.

The Regional Speech Language Phologist works under the support and direction of the Area/Regional Vice President, Operions and onsite Program Directors to ensure the highest standards of clinical practice are upheld across multiple school locions and educion teams.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Evaluing students in designed programs to identify speech-language therapy needs and determine approprie levels of service.

  • Developing and implementing individualized speech therapy plans tailored to assessment findings, student strengths, and trement objectives.

  • Setting collaborive, student-centered goals in partnership with families, educors, and interdisciplinary team members.

  • Monitoring student progress regularly through da-driven assessments, adjusting therapy plans to align with developmental milestones and individual needs, and providing detailed progress reports to families and team members.

  • Providing direct speech and language therapy using evidence-based stregies to enhance communicion, language comprehension, articulion, and cognitive-linguistic abilities in age-approprie, nural environments.

  • Documenting therapy sessions and clinical observions accurely and promptly to ensure compliance with Spectrum policies and ste regulory standards.

  • Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-de case records, including timely submission of authorized documention and billing within 24 hours of service delivery.

  • Fostering open and proactive communicion with families regarding therapy schedules, session changes, and progress updes to support transparency and continuity of care.

  • Collaboring with teachers, caregivers, and reled service providers to support the integrion and generalizion of therapy goals into daily routines and educional settings.

  • Participing actively in onsite multidisciplinary meetings and regional conferences to share insights, review student progress, and inform trement recommendions.

  • Providing clinical support and expertise to onsite program teams, offering practical stregies to promote consistent implemention of therapy goals across environments.

  • Mentoring educors and staff within each program locion to ensure effective delivery of student therapy plans and to build clinical capacity.

  • Conducting and/or overseeing timely client intakes and comprehensive clinical assessments, contributing insights and recommendions for continuous program enhancement.

  • Overseeing the quality and consistency of speech therapy services across multiple school locions, ensuring alignment with clinical best practices and performance standards.

  • Maintaining clinical excellence through direct supervision, ongoing staff development, and knowledge-sharing to support a culture of professional growth and quality care.

  • Collaboring with clients, caregivers, and families to build trust and rapport, empowering them to participe in the therapy process and support student success.

  • Engaging in continuous professional development to remain informed of emerging practices, research, and innovions in the field of speech-language phology and educion.

  • Traveling regularly between assigned Spectrum School locions to provide hands-on clinical support, direct therapy services, and program oversight; occasional overnight travel may be required.

  • Performing additional responsibilities or projects as requested by onsite Program Directors or assigned by the Area/Regional VP of Operions.

Qualificions Required:

  • Master's degree or higher in speech phology or a closely reled field of study.
  • Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a speech language phology (SLP) credential.
  • Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a CA ste special educion instruction credential preferred.
  • Hold currently or have the ability to obtain a valid CA ste drivers license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certificion in company approved crisis management training.
  • Prior experience and/or knowledge in providing speech therapy instruction, guidance and/or support to children, preferably in an alternive, special educion and/or behavioral health program setting.
  • Well-versed in special educion services and compliance, effective teaching stregies, classroom management systems, da-based decision making, and working with children with individualized educion plans (IEP's).
  • Highly skilled in working with children with learning disabilities, emotional behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders and/or other reled disabilities.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing effective trement plans for children with diverse needs various levels.
  • Proficiency in providing motivion and having critical conversions with students th help move them toward realistic goals.
  • Highly skilled in building relionships with students, parents, teachers and community and/or district partners.
  • Advanced oral and written communicion, organizion, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability.
  • Knowledge of relevant technology including experience with instructional technology, Microsoft Office Suite, dabase entry and basic office equipment.
