Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an essential role supporting students' communication and learning as a school-based speech-language pathologist. This contract position is located onsite near Avondale, AZ, serving elementary students during the 2026-2027 academic year. You'll collaborate with educators and staff, building positive relationships to help children thrive in the school environment. Key Qualifications: Current Arizona state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Possession of a valid SLP Educator Certificate Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Experience providing speech-language services in a school-based setting Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to work full-time onsite and manage a diverse caseload Responsibilities: Evaluate and assess students for speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams Provide direct therapy to students as outlined in IEPs Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and session notes Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success Stay informed of current best practices and comply with all state and federal guidelines Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing parent communication Enjoy the opportunity to make a difference every day for students who need your expertise.
