Part-Time School Nurse (RN) - District Wide
Schedule: 100 days per school year
The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking a caring, organized, and student-centered Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Part-Time School Nurse District Wide. This position plays an important role in supporting the health, wellness, and safety of students and staff within the school environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Assessing and responding to student health concerns and emergencies
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Maintaining accurate student health records and documentation
Monitoring immunization compliance and health requirements
Collaborating with administrators, teachers, counselors, and families regarding student health needs
Supporting health education and wellness initiatives within the school setting
Ensuring compliance with New York State regulations and district policies
Qualifications:
Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Current CPR/AED certification preferred
Previous pediatric, school, or community health experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
This is a part-time position scheduled for 100 workdays during the school year calendar.
