Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Work From Home Maryland

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting. This role supports students ranging from elementary to middle school levels with caseloads that may reach up to 57 students at peak times. Assignments will vary based on the candidates skill set and geographic location within the Eastern Standard Time Zone.

Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual speech-language pathology evaluation and intervention services.
• Manage a caseload adjusted to experience and comfort level, in coordination with supervisors.
• Utilize teletherapy platforms to deliver effective speech and language services.
• Collaborate with educational staff to support student speech and language needs in an online learning environment.
• Maintain compliance with licensing and school district policies.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Maryland SLP licensure required.
• Minimum of three years of virtual school-based SLP experience post-COVID, with at least two years within the past five years.
• Strong familiarity with teletherapy techniques and digital tools.
• Ability to provide documentation including resume, license images, and professional references.
• Eligibility to obtain House Bill background clearance.

Location: Rockville, Maryland (serving the Washington DC area)
Work Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week, starting August 25, 2026, through June 11, 2027
