School Speech Language Pathologist - Denham Springs, Louisiana

This full-time role runs August 3rd through May 21st, aligning with the school year and offering a consistent Monday-Friday schedule (7:45 am 3:30 pm). The position focuses on elementary students, most likely those in grades 3-4 or 5-6, and supports a single school site for focused, meaningful therapy delivery.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Louisiana Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is a mustno supervision requirements
• Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP services for elementary grades (1st6th)
• Both seasoned professionals and recently certified practitioners with CCC are welcome to apply
• Proficiency in supporting children with a range of communication needs and disabilities
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with educators, families, and students

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language services (assessment, therapy, documentation, and progress monitoring) to a K-6 caseload
• Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Track student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with teachers and caregivers for holistic student support
• Maintain thorough, compliant records in accordance with district and state guidelines
