The position spans the Extended School Year (ESY) program, running from June 29th to July 30th, with the workday set from Monday to Thursday, 7:45 am to 12:45 pm. As part of this engaging summer assignment, your time may be shared between two different locations, supporting a variety of programs.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
• Valid WA SPED RN Certification
• Previous experience in school nursing, particularly with special education populations
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Adaptability to work with multiple programs and locations
• Proven commitment to fostering a safe, supportive environment for students

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide health services and medical support during the ESY summer program
• Collaborate with staff to ensure individualized care plans are implemented
• Respond to health emergencies and administer medication as needed
• Maintain accurate health records for students across assigned programs
• Serve as a resource and advocate for students wellbeing throughout the summer session
