A full-time School-Based Occupational Therapist position is available to provide telehealth services supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is virtual and involves approximately 37.5 hours per week, focusing on delivering occupational therapy interventions tailored to the educational environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting occupational therapy assessments and interventions via teletherapy to support students' functional development.
- Collaborating with educators and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy goals accordingly.
- Maintaining thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory and school requirements.
- Participating in team meetings and offering consultation on occupational therapy-related matters.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapy License.
- Certification as a Certified Driver Educator (CDE) is required.
- Demonstrated experience with school-based occupational therapy services.
- Proficiency in telehealth and teletherapy methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills for virtual collaboration with students, staff, and families.
Location: Virtual service delivery supporting students in Peyton, CO.
Contract Type: Full school year commitment (2026-2027).
