We are seeking one full-time Occupational Therapist for a long-term school-based assignment in Mahtomedi, MN. This position runs from August 24, 2026 through February 28, 2027 and follows the school calendar schedule.

This role serves a K12 caseload across a single district setting. The OT will support students by providing both direct and consultative services to help them access their educational environment and meet IEP goals.

Schedule & Setting

Primary Responsibilities
The Occupational Therapist will complete both evaluation and treatment responsibilities, including conducting formal and informal assessments, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals, and providing ongoing direct services to students. The role also includes monitoring student progress, updating interventions as needed, and maintaining all required documentation and compliance records.

Additional responsibilities include participating in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings, as well as collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and special education teams. This position also includes supporting assistive technology evaluations and recommendations to improve student access to curriculum and learning environments.

Qualifications

  • Active Minnesota Occupational Therapy license (Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy Practice)
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Experience working with students with disabilities
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with assistive technology tools is a plus
