Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for Virginia SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; open to Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Experience or interest in working in a school setting (K-12)
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech/language and communication disorders for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities
