Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current OT licensure (or eligibility) in Connecticut
- Previous experience working with K-12 students or pediatric populations preferred
- Strong assessment, IEP, and documentation skills
- Adaptability and excellent communication with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with special education and classroom staff to address student needs
- Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility/placement meetings
- Document progress, attend team meetings, and provide consultation as needed
- Foster development of student motor skills, self-care, and participation in learning
