Speech Language Pathologist in Lowell, MA

Make a meaningful impact this summer by providing speech and language support to students during the Extended School Year (ESY) session. Skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) are needed to work with elementary-aged students, helping them maintain and strengthen their communication abilities over the summer break. This contract opportunity runs from July 6th through August 14th, 2026, Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 12:00pm, totaling 14 hours per week. The location is conveniently situated near Lowell, MA, ideal for those seeking a rewarding school-based assignment with a manageable workload.

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Massachusetts
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Previous experience in schools or with school-aged populations is highly preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students according to their IEP goals
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations as needed
• Collaborate with classroom staff, families, and other professionals to support student communication needs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and complete required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to program planning as necessary
