School-Based Physical Therapist - Bronx, NY

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with credentials valid in New York
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Skilled in adapting exercises and interventions to a variety of mobility needs

Position Responsibilities:

• Assess students physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver PT services in accordance with students IEP goals
• Document progress, maintain records, and communicate with teachers and families
• Consult with faculty to adjust classroom activities as needed
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to support holistic student care
• Educate staff and caregivers on mobility strategies and assistive equipment
• Support students safe participation in school routines and extracurricular activities
