Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience providing speech-language therapy in a hospital setting
• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid and current SLP license

• Demonstrated knowledge of therapeutic techniques, patient assessment, and care planning
• Proficient documentation and electronic recordkeeping abilities

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough patient evaluations to determine speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to address patients specific needs
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure optimal care coordination
• Deliver direct therapy interventions, monitor patient progress, and modify plans as appropriate
• Educate patients and families regarding therapy goals, exercises, and strategies to facilitate continued progress
• Document assessments, treatment sessions, patient responses, and updates accurately in compliance with hospital standards
• Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise toward interdisciplinary care
