We are currently seeking a Grants Management Specialist to work onsite with the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.

The US base salary for this full-time position is $47-74/hr + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Responsibilities
Task 1: Pre-Award Support
Assist federal staff with administrative, technical, and analytical activities associated with grant application review and award processing.
Activities include assistance with:
Reviewing application materials and budgets for completeness and consistency.
Preparing summaries, spreadsheets or analytical documentation related to administrative or budget components of applications.
Identifying missing documentation or potential compliance issues.
Preparing draft administrative documentation and correspondence for review by federal staff.
Uploading and organizing documentation in grant files and electronic systems.
Task 2: Post-Award Support
Provide administrative, technical, and analytical support related to awarded grants.
Activities include assistance with:
Compiling, collecting, and organizing financial and administrative information and documents for federal staff review.
Reviewing submitted reports for completeness and identifying items requiring further review.
Preparing summaries of tasks needed for administrative requests such as budget revisions, carryover requests, or key personnel changes.
Maintaining tracking tools related to expenditures, obligations, and administrative milestones.
Supporting documentation preparation, collection and uploading related to grant monitoring and closeout activities.
Task 3: Documentation and Program Support
Provide documentation and operational support for grants management activities.
Activities include assistance with:
Preparing draft correspondence, reports, and briefing materials for federal staff review.
Maintaining organized grant documentation and electronic grant files, including collection, or tracking of requested missing items.
Developing and maintaining tracking tools or spreadsheets used to support administrative reviews.
Assisting federal staff with research, analysis, and documentation related to grants management policies or process improvements.
Qualifications
Specific Requirements:
Requires a minimum of a bachelor's and 1 to 5 years' experience as Grant Management Specialist
