What We're Looking For

  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Current state license in good standing with the State License Board.
  • NBCOT Certification.
  • Educator's License.
  • Experience working in school settings. This client prefers candidates with prior school-based caseload experience.
  • Comfortable and experienced working with pediatric populations, including students with autism spectrum disorder.
  • Experience treating elementary and middle school age groups (K8).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous caseload experience covering K8 students in a school environment.
  • Experience coordinating IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams.
  • Additional clinical experience in SNF or outpatient settings is preferred if the candidate is open to split assignments for increased hours.

Assignment Details

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday.
  • Caseload: K8 students.
  • Setting: School-based primary assignment. Candidate may be asked to provide services in SNF and/or outpatient settings if they agree to additional hours.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide occupational therapy in a school-based setting. Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and deliver goal-aligned therapy. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams. Maintain compliant documentation per district, state, and federal guidelines.
