Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
• Valid state certification or eligibility as a school psychologist
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
• Strong understanding of MTSS/RTI and related best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for teamwork with staff and families
• Experience developing Individualized Education Programs (IEP) or 504 plans is preferred
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting diversity

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer psychological assessments and interpret results to shape interventions
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams for eligibility, placement, and review of special education services
• Provide consultation to teachers, counselors, and parents to address students behavioral and academic concerns
• Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school setting
• Develop and facilitate individual and group counseling sessions as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely records, reports, and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Promote a positive, inclusive school climate for learners of all backgrounds
