This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is tailored for an experienced and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about school-based practice. Youll support a manageable caseload of approximately 35 students, helping them build critical communication skills and ensuring they thrive both academically and socially.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current, active Texas Speech-Language Pathology license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based environment strongly preferred
- Background working with elementary and middle school students ideal
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and service plans
- Deliver both direct and indirect therapy services to students with a range of communication needs
- Provide ongoing support, collaboration, and consultation to special education teams, teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports in line with state and federal requirements
- Engage in multidisciplinary meetings to shape and refine intervention strategies that benefit students learning environments
