School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Cary, North Carolina

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows considered
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and school-based therapy requirements
• Experience with assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop targeted therapy plans
• Provide one-on-one and small group speech-language therapy
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies into the classroom
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress reports
• Document services and progress in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Offer support and guidance to families regarding student needs and growth
