In this role, you will work closely with 30-40 students enrolled in an autism program, bringing your passion for communication and commitment for student growth to the classroom each day. Key Qualifications and Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Massachusetts Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably within special education or autism programs Strong knowledge of IEP development, goal setting, and progress tracking Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Primary Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine individual student needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy for students with autism Collaborate with classroom teachers, aides, specialists, and families for holistic student support Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development as needed Maintain detailed and timely documentation in line with school and state requirements This short-term contract is ideal for an SLP-CCC who is energized by diverse caseloads and values making an immediate impact.
