This full-time, contract position covers FMLA leave and ensures you'll be actively engaged in a dynamic educational environment from August 7, 2026, with orientation starting August 3-4, continuing through mid-October. You'll provide crucial services across both resource and self-contained classrooms, playing a vital role in your students' educational and developmental journeys. Qualifications & Experience Valid Occupational Therapist licensure appropriate for schools Previous experience in elementary and/or middle school settings preferred Proficient in school-based therapy protocols, assessments, and documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills Flexible and adaptable with a commitment to ongoing learning Experience working with resource and self-contained student populations is a plus Key Responsibilities Deliver direct and consultative OT services for resource and self-contained students Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams during monthly meetings and roundtable discussions Utilize provided testing materials and equipment efficiently Participate in evaluations and process improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery Connect with colleagues in real time through regional intranet and ongoing meetings Contribute to student evaluations and annual performance reviews Engage in the Buddy Program for a supportive, comprehensive orientation experience You will benefit from easy access to a supervisory team for mentoring and professional guidance, plus numerous professional development opportunities.
