Eureka County School District

The Eureka County School District is seeking a highly qualified and highly motivated individual to serve as an Elementary Principal for both the Eureka Elementary School as well as the Crescent Valley Elementary School.

Located in south-central Nevada, Eureka County School District is home for three public schools, Eureka County High School, Eureka Elementary School, both located in Eureka, and Crescent Valley Elementary School, located in Crescent Valley, Nevada. Eureka is located on U.S. Highway 50, 240 miles east of Reno and 115 miles south of Elko, Eureka County High School is a combined Senior/Junior high school with approximately 135 students. Eureka Elementary School is K-6 grade school with approximately 160 students. Crescent Valley Elementary School has an approximate student enrollment of 40 students grades K-6 and is located 120 miles north of Eureka off Interstate 80.

The elementary school students and the secondary students in the District have an extended history of very high performance on state-mandated achievement examinations. All teachers are highly qualified, continually monitor student achievement, and strive to improve instruction to promote greater student learning. The District provides state-of-the-art instructional technology.

It is the purpose of the School Board, teachers, administrator, and staff, with the support of parents/guardians, to teach, guide, and assist students toward acquiring skills in academic, occupational, and social areas.
