Qualifications:

Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent

Current State Occupational Therapy License or eligible to obtain licensure

Previous experience in school-based therapy or working with pediatric populations is preferred, though not mandatory

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other health professionals

Location: Minden, LA, serving multiple sites throughout a school district.

Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students, tailored to individual needs

Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) in collaboration with school staff

Assess and document students' progress, ensuring continuity of care

Travel between various school locations to deliver services and attend meetings

Ensure compliance with state regulations and school policies regarding therapy services
