This role focuses on supporting students in a K-12 school setting, addressing diverse communication needs for the 2025-2026 academic year. Qualifications: Current Louisiana Speech-Language Pathologist License ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in elementary and high school settings Strong assessment and intervention skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists Excellent communication and organizational skills Location: Homer, Louisiana Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments to students. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language services. Deliver effective therapy interventions tailored to students' needs, particularly in elementary and high school caseloads. Collaborate with teachers and other staff to integrate communication goals into daily classroom activities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and outcomes. Conduct parent conferences and communicate regularly regarding student progress.
