Location: Joliet, IL
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of approximately 20 middle school students.
Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.
Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to tailor communication strategies that meet student needs.
Actively participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions to advocate for and support student success.
Implement evidence-based practices in therapy sessions to enhance student outcomes.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Active Illinois SLP license; Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered.
Previous experience with middle school students and low incidence populations is highly regarded.
Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
