We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in a role supporting elementary students in and around Chula Vista, CA . Whether you are looking for a full-time or part-time position, this opportunity allows you to make a positive impact on students' communication and language development. You'll work collaboratively with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure each student achieves their potential. As an SLP , you will assess and provide therapeutic interventions for students with various communication disorders. Your expertise will help create customized strategies to address individual speech and language goals, contributing to their overall educational success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop IEP goals tailored to each student's needs.
Provide direct therapy and classroom support for students with communication challenges.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the IEP team to integrate speech therapy into the student's daily learning activities.
Document progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure measurable improvements.
Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to enhance student participation and success.
Qualifications: Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
Experience working in elementary school settings is preferred.
Strong understanding of IEP processes and school-based therapy.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work full-time or part-time based on the district's needs.
