Speech-Language Pathologist in Chicago Heights, IL

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Collaborate with educators, case managers, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support for students.
• Manage a caseload of 30-35 students, primarily focused on speech impairment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress through the IEP system.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois state Speech Language Pathologist license.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, though not required.
• ASHA certification is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a K-5 school environment.
