Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with educators, case managers, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Manage a caseload of 30-35 students, primarily focused on speech impairment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress through the IEP system.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois state Speech Language Pathologist license.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, though not required.
- ASHA certification is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a K-5 school environment.
