Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract We currently have an exciting opening for the role of School Occupational Therapist (OT) in the Moorpark area, specifically catering to those interested in working within a school environment. The chosen candidate will play a vital role in providing essential therapy to students, aiding them in improving their ability to perform everyday tasks associated with both the classroom and their daily lives. Our director is presently meticulously reviewing applicant backgrounds and conducting interviews for this position. Key Responsibilities: Assess students' physical, communication, and cognitive capabilities to develop appropriate treatment plans.

Offer guidance and support to family members.

Assist children with unique circumstances in their daily activities.

Monitor students' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

Perform administrative duties such as record-keeping, report writing, and making phone calls.

Experience and Education Requirements: Previous experience in an occupational therapy setting is mandatory.

Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable.

A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school recognized by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) or the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (AOTE) is a requirement.
