Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school in the area is currently looking for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team for the upcoming school year. The main responsibilities of the therapist will include evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders. They will also develop customized treatment plans and provide training, communication, and education to families and caregivers of individuals with communication disorders. The caseload will be determined accordingly, and the director is actively reviewing applications and conducting interviews for this position. Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat communication disorders.
Create individualized treatment and therapy plans for diverse patient populations.
Conduct screenings to identify voice or speech disorders.
Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and their causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
Maintain detailed records of patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
Experience: Previous experience in a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) setting.
Preference for candidates with prior experience in a school environment.
Education: Must hold a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Full accreditation (CCC) is preferred.
Must be in at least the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
