As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the communication and language development of our students. This position involves working collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to identify and address speech and language disorders, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program. Active Texas state Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Previous school-based experience preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Job Responsibilities: Provide direct therapy services to K-12 students. Conduct evaluations, assessments, and screenings. Develop and implement IEPs. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation of services. Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and staff development. Benefits:
