Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist Massillon, Ohio

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Massillon, OH. This contract position spans the academic year and offers 36 hours per week, with Mondays off when school is not in session. The caseload consists of 26 students requiring speech and language services.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid SLP certification with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
• Open to Certified Fellows (CF) with supervision provided as required.
• Experience working in healthcare, pediatric, and school settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage caseloads and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language pathology services to K-12 students, addressing various communication disorders.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create effective intervention strategies.
• Document and maintain accurate records in compliance with school guidelines.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
• Provide supervision and guidance for CF candidates during the Clinical Fellowship Year if applicable.
