The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting isresponsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing anddocumenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed foreach individual student and the physician's orders.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in thestate of assignment required
+ Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-LanguagePathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age

Speech Language Pathologist AND THEY WILL ACCEPT CFYs!!!
PLEASE NOTE: SLP must be flexible. They are here to serve the students of Saint Louis City and must be flexible if something changes or they may have to be in more than 1 school depending on their caseload. if they do, it will be a site nearby. they want to make sure we discuss flexibility with them.

Caseload Details:
35-50 students on caseload depending on service minutes. This can alternate but will not go above 50. bulk of SPED population is learning disabilities and OHI(ADHD).
Classroom Support:
Day to Day Duties:
Therapy type services. will write IEPs
Group or 1:1 support (Paras, BTs, Nurses):

Start & End Date:
2025-2026 SY first day of school is 8/18 but possibly sooner once they establish training for SLPs. They have a lot of training set up for all new hires to learn their systems and do refreshers on things.
Start & End Time:
will work 32.5 hours/wk. times are broken up into 3 tiers (7am-2pm, 8am-3pm, and 9am-4pm) they let SLP pick up to 2 different schedules per week
Types of Testing (LSSPs, Diags, SLPs):
SLP
Specific Campus:
Specific sites are TBD and will be gone over in the interview.
10 needs at elementary sites and those can range from prek-6 or prek-8
1 need at MS
2 needs at HS
