Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide services to school-aged children for the duration of a 9-month academic contract. The Occupational Therapist will work within a school setting to support students' ability to participate in daily school activities and achieve academic success. This role includes evaluating students, developing individualized plans, and collaborating with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans. Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students' academic and functional goals. Develop and implement therapy sessions focused on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluation reports, progress notes, and IEP documentation. Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' goals and progress. Educate school staff and parents on strategies to support student success. Adhere to ethical standards and comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Qualifications: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist. NBCOT certification required. Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Work Schedule: Follows the school district's academic calendar Typically Monday through Friday during school hours
