This contract opportunity offers a schedule of 37.5 hours per week throughout the school year, providing consistent involvement in student services from start to finish. Location: Martinsville, VA Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, during the school year (NSY) Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language therapy to students across grades K-12 Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student's communication needs Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress Document and monitor student outcomes, adjusting therapy approaches as needed Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Qualifications and Experience: Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with children in a school environment, preferably K-12 Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to maintain detailed records and comply with school policies and procedures This position offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to student growth and success in a supportive educational environment.
