DESCRIPTION: Extended School Year - Speech Language Pathologist POSITION TYPE: Contract

SALARY & LENGTH OF CONTRACT YEAR: Dependant on start date
RESPONSIBLE TO: Director and Supervisor of Special Education
QUALIFICATIONS:
- An earned Master’s degree.
- A valid Michigan Speech Language Pathologist License.
- Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech & Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or in your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
DESCRIPTION:
The DSISD will employ one (1) Speech Therapist to assist in meeting the requirements for extended school year services, which will encompass preschool and school-aged students, Early On children, students in the MiCI program at Lemmer School, and students at the Learning Center.
QUALIFICATIONS:
License and Certification as a speech therapist in the state of Michigan
SCHEDULE:
Up to a total of 15 days, which includes Early On evaluation obligations as scheduled by the Director of Special Education in consultation with the speech therapist.
