Job Description
This opportunity is ideal for Occupational Therapists experienced in the Special Education process and passionate about supporting K-12 students. The position is based in Riverside, CA, within a dynamic school setting, and runs for the entire school year on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide occupational therapy services tailored to meet the diverse needs of students across K-12.
- Collaborate effectively with parents, school staff, and district personnel to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Ensure all therapy services comply with federal, state, and district regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain organized caseload documentation and manage deadlines efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience working in school settings.
- Strong knowledge of the Special Education process and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with interdisciplinary teams and families.
Location:
- Riverside, California (K-12 school environment)
