Operating onsite in Lees Summit, MO, this position offers a flexible schedule with approximately 12 hours per week during the 2025-2026 school year.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of around 15 students, with the possibility of change based on student transfers. The therapist will deliver interventions that emphasize therapeutic play, though candidates using a clinical approach are also considered. The position requires adaptability to serve multiple grade levels within the school system.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in Missouri (MO OT License)
- Experience working with school-age children, especially those with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Ability to design and implement intervention plans incorporating therapeutic play techniques
- Comfort working onsite in a school environment
