This full-time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist position offers an opportunity to support middle and high school students in their communication and language development for the 2025-2026 school year. The role involves working across two locations, five minutes apart, with a schedule of three days at the high school (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and two days at the middle school (Tuesday, Thursday).
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and specialists to foster inclusive learning environments
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as necessary
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
- Offering professional development support to staff on speech and language topics
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Pennsylvania state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required; candidates must hold CCC-SLP
- Experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
