School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Onsite | Virginia Beach, Virginia
Schedule: Full-Time | 37.5 hours/week
Employment Type: W2 Contract
Compensation: $48$58 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

We are actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality services in a school-based setting for the upcoming academic year. This is a full-time, onsite position designed for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to improving the lives of students with communication challenges.
Position Overview
As part of a dynamic special education team, you will support students speech and language development while working closely with families, educators, and administrators. The caseload will be discussed in detail during the interview, but rest assured it will be structured and supported by a student-centered administration.
Responsibilities
Deliver direct and indirect therapy services based on students' IEPs and individual needs
Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations for eligibility and progress monitoring
Develop individualized education plans and set measurable goals for each student
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, services provided, and student progress
Consult regularly with teachers and parents to ensure comprehensive support for students
Provide education and training to staff regarding speech and language best practices
Follow all federal, state, and district regulations and guidelines
Perform additional duties as directed by the Admin for Special Services
Qualifications
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY supervision may be available
Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
