Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our school-based team in the San Francisco, CA metropolitan area for the 20252026 school year. This full-time, on-site role focuses on helping students achieve functional mobility goals that support their participation and success in the educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to assess students gross motor skills, mobility, balance, strength, and coordination.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and treatment plans tailored to student needs.
• Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to promote student progress.
• Monitor and document student performance, progress, and outcomes.
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations regarding school-based therapy services.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current California Physical Therapist license.
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
