A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed for a K-12 school setting, providing services to students from Pre-K through 8th grade. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, with a scheduled start date of September 2, 2025, and end date of June 9, 2026. The role involves supporting students across multiple campus locations within the district.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license and credentials appropriate for school-based practice
- Experience working with children from Pre-K to 8th grade
- Familiarity with educational environments and IEP processes
- Ability to provide therapy across multiple sites efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students showcasing a range of educational and developmental needs
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and student assessments as required
