Job Description
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available to provide services for PreK through 8th grade students, serving both middle school and elementary grade levels. This contract assignment is located in Urbana, IL, with a duration through the next school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to PreK-8 students.
- Provide individualized care focused on speech and language development.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintain documentation and communication within contracted hours.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP - CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year status (SLP - CFY), or possess appropriate School SLP certification.
- Bilingual capabilities are required for effective communication with diverse student populations.
- Experience working in school settings is preferred.
Job Details:
- Contract length: Next School Year (NSY).
- Location: Urbana, IL.
- Guaranteed hours with paid direct and indirect service time.
- No additional district responsibilities beyond contracted hours (e.g., bus duty, parent pickup).
- Travel therapists are eligible for travel stipends.
