NATURE AND SCOPE OF WORK Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical High School is seeking a dedicated, full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is also committed to supporting inclusive education for studentswith disabilities. This unique, dual-role position combines direct speech-language therapy withcollaborative special education inclusion support, offering an opportunity for professional growthand broad student impact. (appointment reliant on grant funding)Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language services to students on IEPs. Conduct evaluations, write assessment reports, and actively participate in IEP meetings. Support inclusive classroom settings by working directly with students and general educationteachers. Assist with instructional accommodations, curriculum modifications, and differentiation. Write and manage IEPs in collaboration with families and staff; ensure compliance withtimelines. Serve as a liaison between special education and general education teams. Monitor student progress, using a variety of assessments and data-informed strategies. Foster an inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive learning environment. Maintain professional competence through ongoing development and reflective practice. Perform additional duties as assigned by school leadership.QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION Valid state licensure and/or DESE licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Willingness to earn a Special Education (Moderate Disabilities) certification. Have strong knowledge of federal and state special education laws and procedures. Demonstrate excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
