This opportunity is for three licensed Speech-Language Pathologists specializing in pediatric care, providing services across elementary, middle, and high school levels for the 2025-2026 academic year. The position involves a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, serving K-12 students in a contract role based in Arlington Heights, IL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across all grade levels K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students speech and language development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology endorsement.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and educational staff.
