Full-Time School Occupational Therapist in the Lecompton, KS Area

Location: Near Lecompton, KS

A well-established school district near Lecompton, Kansas is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their team for a full-time role in the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity to support student development in a collaborative, flexible, and student-focused environment.

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual and group settings

• Support skill development in fine motor coordination, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation

• Develop and implement therapy goals in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated support

• Train school staff on tools and strategies to improve student learning, regulation, and engagement

• Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state regulations

• Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

• Caseload: Approximately 75 students across multiple K12 school sites

• Start Date: Beginning of the new school year

• Requirements: Active Kansas Occupational Therapy license or certification
