Speech-Language Pathologist Needed Help Students Succeed in Toledo City Schools

Toledo City Schools is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide assessments and therapy that help students build essential communication skills for academic and social success. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver interventions that support speech, language, and pragmatic communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and prepare reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address articulation, fluency, expressive/receptive language, and social communication

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to progress monitoring

• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Ohio SLP License

• Ohio Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs

• ASHA CCC strongly preferred

• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
