A school district near Mount Kisco, NY is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide one-on-one support for a homebound student . This unique, part-time role allows for focused, individualized services in a home-based setting , making a direct and meaningful impact on student communication and learning.

• Location: Mount Kisco, NY

• Schedule: Part-Time

• Caseload: 1 student (uses AAC device)

• Licensure Requirement: Active New York SLP License

• Additional Requirement: Knowledge and experience with AAC devices

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to one student in a home setting, aligned with IEP goals

• Deliver consultative services as needed to support overall student development

• Develop and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals based on assessments and progress

• Maintain accurate documentation , including data collection and service logs, per district and state guidelines

• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement strategies that improve communication and participation

• Stay informed on evidence-based practices , especially in AAC and homebound services

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations related to special education and speech therapy
